In this "very satisfying mix of dizzying intrigue and steamy romance, " the #1 New York Times bestselling author delivers a novel that's "perfect for those who love a good alpha male and a damsel in distress who doesn't wait for someone else to rescue her" (Publishers Weekly).

Ryan Willis has spent years in the protection business, a job that requires constant vigilance and quick thinking. His only chance to truly relax is at his secluded cabin in a small town where there are never any surprises. So when Ryan returns after an assignment and encounters a beautiful stranger, he isn't only surprised, he's also instantly intrigued.
Hannah Bright is a breath of fresh air, and Ryan is soon completely consumed, unable to stop from falling for her. As the two grow closer, his instinct tells him something is amiss. Yet nothing could prepare him for what he discovers when he starts digging into her past.

Hannah spends her days painting, running her arts and crafts store...and hiding too many secrets. It's why she won't let the ruggedly handsome bodyguard get too close. But their chemistry is undeniable, and Hannah quickly finds herself caught up in a whirlwind romance with Ryan. He is peace personified, a balm to her battered soul. Yet the gorgeous, captivating man who has swept Hannah off her feet doesn't even know who she really is. And the moment he finds out, both their lives are at risk

  • Ryan is amazing

    By 01glh
I have read every single book JEM has written. Loved most of them but nothing surpasses the This Man series. That said, I love Ryan. He is amazing in every way. An alpha with no issues. Quite refreshing. My only criticism is that the plot moved a little slow. I kept craving details of Hannah’s past. Perhaps Jodi did that on purpose. Definitely read this book. The cameos of Jake and Cami were great.
  • Sexy and Emotional

    By Poetriot
This is the way you end a series. Billy's book may be last but by no means does it have any less of an emotional impact as all the other books. Billy and Claire have both gone through so much of an emotional roller coaster and fight so hard to get past each obstacle that appears before them with every part of their being. It makes the finish line so much more satisfying to see when Billy and Claire have to fight so hard and almost give up in their journey to find happiness and closure in their lives. It is so good to see their journey guided by their family and friends. It is definitely a bittersweet feeling to see it all end, but you know that for these characters the journey will continue on in some way that keeps you tied to them for life.
  • Ok but not my favorite

British twist of the movie sleeping with the enemy. Bit too much the main characters’ thoughts and not enough dialogue. Bits of Olivia and jake in the main characters.
  • Loved this story!!!

Jodi Ellen Malpas words are magical! Ryan and Hannah show us how to love and move on from the past. They show what kindness is all about and how much love can bring out different emotions. Make you feel like a whole new person when you meet the one. Suddenly the earth's axis is tilted and you are under a spell. Ryan and Hannah did that for me. Took me to a place that had me mesmerized with falling in love all over again. JEM will not only give you the chemistry you crave with Leave Me Breathless, but you will have some suspense and action scenes that will play out. I knew this story would be something special and even though you go through many flows of emotion, you will be left breathless at the end <3 I loved revisiting Jake and Cami. It felt like coming back home to your favorite place.
  • I AM BREATHLESS! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic's Read

I AM BREATHLESS! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic's Read I completely loved this story. It's full of Heat, Love and Suspense.... So friggin good!! Ryan and Hannah are defiantly drawn to each other. He wants everything from her, all her love, dreams and even more for her to trust him enough to share her life with him even her past. When he dives into her past he finds so much more than he bargained for, also finding that he has to protect her. Hannah just wants to live a life not in constant fear. When she gets involved with Ryan she finds that she wants to live an even fuller life one with him. She has to figure out how to let him in fully and get past her fear. I found myself laughing at his sassy as hell daughter, Alex just made this story so much better.
